Hi to all. I got a call last night about 10:45pm from my good friend Tim Ferrell (of the famed band LUDO) and he said that they were headed my way and could use a place to crash for a few hours before they continue on to their show in Dallas. I, of course, accommodated and long about 4:00am they arrived. It was pretty last-minute and pretty great. www.ludorock.com Is their website if you are interested in listening to their music. They are great guys and put on one heck of a great rock show!

What a crazy life. These five guys travel in one van with a trailer attached for their gear. They travel all over the place up and down the highway playing show after show. I'm sure that it is work, like everything else, and that there are good days and hard days, but it sure does sound COOL! I hope they make it big and break through with much force into the American way of life. Good Luck Guys!

See ya,
jb

Oh Wow! Where do I start? I've been gone for a while. Unplugged by the will of my disfunctional computer. It has shutdown and won't connect to the internet. I am still here though. I've been working with my dad a bit on his house, and doing odd jobs here and there. Things are actually going pretty great though. I spent last week at the church recording with nathan. We went in hoping to get some demo versions of the songs that we've been writing, but it ended up being just a huge education in record engineering. It was needed (and I'm sure will result in future records), but didn't yield the songs that were hoped for. You can listen to a couple if you want (they aren't very good).

there are two online.

and

they're rough, but it will give you a feel of the songs.

I'll write more in a bit, but now I've got to get some work done.

see ya,

Good afternoon. It is a glorious day here, no clouds, and a sky that is deep blue. I'm feeling fantastic, and have a chance this week to catch up on a few things that have fallen behind lately. I'm stoked about my new forum. I hope that it is a way that we can all talk, keep in touch, chew on important issues, and build our relationships through constant communication.

I don't know how everyone else if feeling, but I'm incredibly happy right now, and in constant anticipation of what is next. It just seems to get better and better. It reminds me of a saying that I used to use to friends when I was in college. I would say, "You know, I'm sure that life gets better than this, but nothing comes to mind!" There is a real sweetness in resting in the love of the Lord. Contentment that doesn't have to make sense to the rest of the world, and often times does not. But that is okay, because light dispels darkness and darkness comprehends it not (John 1:5). I love the way truth is undeniable and complete.

Have a glorious day.
